Me and some of my friends are thinking about going. I've looked at the web site . Could someone give me some info on this rally? Is it a good rally , good place to stay? Thanks

TB is not a bad rally. The Panama City area is biker friendly. At least so far. Much better than Daytona or Myrtle Beach. I would guess if enough bikers ran open pipes through the neighborhoods at 2:00 a.m., that could change.
I went to a little of the fall rally and was OK. They were saying about 65,000 attended, not bad. There aren't a lot of riding roads as there are in your area, but plenty to do and the seafood is great. The beaches are pretty, but the Condo Canyons hide a lot of the view.
As for motels, most on Panama City Beach are acceptable to pretty good. If you are bringing a crowd, you might think about renting a condo. There are -many- vacant.
Thunder beach is pretty spread out. Some years there are venues from Panama City to the far end of Panama City Beach, maybe a distance of over 20 miles.
As I said, it is very biker friendly except for some retirees who only want a community of golf carts and golf courses.

yeah, like the previous poster said, it's pretty decent. A little too spread out but you can find the hotspots and have fun. The riding roads can be had if you want beach scenery by getting out of town. 10 minutes away there are decent rides. Unless you go north, then it's just pine trees and straight roads. lol.
Come on down.

Me, i would stay at the beachcomber(850) 233-3600 they have things going on and it is close to the events. i would ride north out of west panama city beach on 79 cross the west bay bridge take 388 east all the way over to 231 turn north and then turn east on 20 go over to blountstown (turn right when you see the pigly wigly) stop at paramores for a catfish lunch( all you can eat) waters bad there so the tea has a funky taste.stick with coke or your choice. continue 20 east to 375 south stop at wakula springs..filmed tarzan and creature of black lagoon. continue south to 98 west head over to apalachicola and stop in to papa joes for oysters. hop back on the bikes and 98 west then go downtown st andrews to hunts oyster bar then to ms gandys for some drinks, club lavie on to coyote ugly then to dustys and your back to beachcomber by midnight

PCJIII, you know the area pretty well. Very good rides and stops mentioned. Is it thawing out up there yet?
Parramores got caught in some tax trouble and has new management, this recently. I hear the food is still good, but haven't been there in some time.
Pretty much any of the restaurants on the coast in Wakulla and Franklin County are very good. Let me -HIGHLY- suggest The Coastal Restaurant in Panacea. They have a grilled seafood platter that will make your tongue beat your brains out. That is, of course, if you like seafood. Very reasonable price, too. Sunset Coastal Grill in Port St. Joe has very good fried oysters and lobster ravioli.
In Panama City, I love J. Michael's neat the bridge on Thomas Drive. Great Cajun food.
Send a PM if you get down this way in May. If I can get off work, we'll grab some grub somewhere.

Patrick-
Going to be quite a shock to the system to come from that to Florida in July. <LOL> My profound respect and sympathy.
It'll be a good ride, though, and worth it.
Best, and be safe.
