Did anybody go to last years event? Is anyone going to this years? And if so was it any good this is the 2nd annual. I'm thinking about going ,it's the 4th and 5th of Oct. Not much about last yrs on the web site www.highspringsbikefest.com any help out there ????

The last bike fest was actually in 2006, and it was run by the city itself. last year the city decided not to have one. this year a private non-profit has picked up the torch and moved the bike fest outside of city limits onto 13 private acres. my wifes father is one of the guys putting on the event. its gonna be awesome. live bands, food, gear, bike shows, bike washes. i know that ill be there. come on out, there is no cover charge..
Hey guys, I am one of the organizers of this years bikefest. This is going to be much bigger and much better than in 2006. We had our hand tied behind our back with all the rules and regulations of the City of High Springs. This year we are on 13 beautiful private acres 2.5 miles outside of town. The proceeds of this event go to the Military Order of Purple Hearts organization. Come on out and support these people. We have four bands on Sat, bike wash, wet t contest, bike show, and vendors. A gospel group Sunday morning, along with the blessing of the bikes, and a really great band Sunday afternoon. Any questions...give me a call...
