NC vehicle Theft inspection..
Hey, new here and new owner of a 1973 custom built bobber style harley. I have been informed that because it is 35 years old and it being purchased out of state I need to get a Vehicle Theft inspection. Does anybody here in NC have expierence with this and what I need to supply, what they check for, etc?
I have never had to do this before and just worried I might not have something that will hold up the process.
I have title and MSO. Title matches Vin on frame except the first number is not on the frame. Dont know if the number came off or dulled out over the years.
Location is Raleigh area.

1973 FX frame chopped in the rear with rigid welded in place. Bottom end is 58 panhead topped with 66 shovelhead. S&S super E carb, Andrew B grind cam. 73 4spd trans. Kick and Electric start... A bobber fo sho
