Fatbones... I like the look of the springs under the drivers seat. It looks great with the two seats together, and I bet it looks great with the passenger seat off as well.

Couple questions though, what seat is that, how are the springs mounted to the seat and to the frame? Also, how are you keeping the passenger seat mounted? It cant be just by the screw at the back of the seat. Seems like if it was just that screw, the seat itslef would spin around the screw.

If you got any pics of how the seats are mounted, I would love to seem them.

Thanks,
Josh

looks good Signwizard. Really like the looks of the new logo on the 09 FatBoys much better than the 07's IMO

I currently have an 07 Dyna Lowrider. I rode my friends 01 Fatboy and it was really nice. The floorboards fit me very well and the 88 engine was really smooth.

I rented an 08 Fatboy for a day but noticed lots of difference. The 96 motor had lots of vibration under acceleration, even more than my dyna. And the floorboards/controls seemed a lot further forward.

I have about 30" inseam and the 01 seemed to fit me much better than the 08. Is this possible? Or do I need to ride the 01 again to see if it was a mistake somehow? I was wondering if the 01 with the 88 motor / 5 sp tranny had the controls a bit further back.

Thanks in advance.

Talking New to this site

Hi all, I am new to this site and need some advice. I am trying and I repeat "trying" to do all the maintenance on my bike myself. Does anyone know of a good repair manual? Need to work on my brake lines asap.

The Bigboy Fatboy

I'd love to show you my 10 year work in progress Fatboy but, the pic size restrictions will not allow me to do that.
I cannot re-size my pics on my Mac with the software I have.

New Exhaust???

I was wondering if anyone out there knew anything about BUB's straightaways?? I was thinking of putting those on my bike. I especially like the black ceramic coated ones. I was curious what the bike sounded like after installation. Any ideas on this would certainly be appreciated.
