Theeis-

Not sure what pan you wanna cut ??? If U mean the frame cover pan, cut away...Just a fancy battery cover anyway..

I did a sprung tractor aka Police style seat on my former '90 Heritage.. That baby floated like air-ride !!! & looked good too..

The HD tractor seat is one of the most comfortable IMO I have ridden...
And I get to ride a lot of peoples bikes..

solid chrome wheels?

Did you swap out your factory ones? If so, what did you go with? Aftermarket? chrome exchange? H-D polished and chromed? H-D mirror chrome wheel?

Turn signal problems

My front right turn signal (running lights) will not light at all, and the rear one only lights when the turn signal is depressed (does not blink). The left one (both front and back) works fine, stays on for operating lights and blinks when the turn signal is depressed. Anyone have any sugjestions on where to begin?

Thanks....

The best place to start would be by posting this on the electrical forum. . .

Hello all, I'm not new to the forum but am new to the Fatboy Discussion. I just picked up my new/used 2008 FLSTF! It is awesome. I wanted to share a comment, however, from another HD owner I spoke with the other night. He claimed that Fatboy owners are usually people who have ridden Harleys for less than 5 years...and a true HD rider owns a Dyna Low Rider. I obviously disagreed. How crazy is that thinking? The Fatboy is a fantastic bike that rides and handles well...and I think it's pretty damn smooth!

Envious

Ya, that is the kind of statement that other riders who wished they had bought a Fatboy, say to those that did, to make themselves feel better that they bought a "practical" bike instead of a Fatboy.

eagle56, go and get your fuel reset. your running that motor to lean with your V&H. you are taking a chance on doing damage to your motor.... I have those pipes on my bike and you will notice the hp after you do this!!!

Whatever makes you 'fit & feel right' on yer bike, right ?

Change & personalizing HDs is a time honored tradition..

But what do I know ? I still ride obsolete HDs
