Thank you!
Love them! Bars have been a bike saver a couple of times. Both bars and pegs are HD. I'm 5'1" tall and the arms you see connected to the bar are the reduced reach arms. You can actually reverse those and make them longer for the taller folks.

Got a question you guys may be able to help with.
I'm ready to park my Superglide and buy a Fatboy.
So I go to Harley's web site, and play their customization game.
I pick out the color, and not particulary liking the standard wheels, I picked out the one's I like, and a couple other accessories.
I stop by the local dealer, and he has no Fat boy's in stock.
So I ask how long will it take if I order one? He says he can check with other dealers and if they have one do a swap.
So I tell him about my visit to the web site, and what I want.
He says, "Well, yeah, but you can't buy it that way. You buy the bike, buy the wheels, and we'll put them on--for a charge.
So what he's saying is, I have to buy the bike with wheels I don't want, then buy the wheels I do want, and pay him to install them. Then I have a set of wheels that I either stack in my garage or find somebody who does like them.
Is that normal procedure? That kind of policy sucks.

Passing Lamps
I installed HD passing lamps on my 99 fatboy and they look great except....there is a tapered washer located directly underneath the passinglamp. The tapered washer is the only thing that isnt chrome and it stands out like a soar thumb. I have looked all over for a chrome replacement and havent had any luck. Has anyone run into the same problem and or have any sugjestions? Thanks.......

ACE Hardware has some chrome nuts/bolts/washers....might try there (if you have one in your area!).

Has anyone tried to put the road king directional relocation kit on thier fatboy? I have the chrome nacelle allready. I'd like to get them off the handlebars just dont feel like finding out the hard way that they dont interchange. Any help would be appreciated maybe two small spotlights would work out on those bracets, but I like the clean look of the kit.
Thanks JTS

I am installing the nacelle on my fatboy. I have a 1999 however I added the 5 gallon tanks. Will the larger (5 gallon vs 4.2 gallon) tanks be a problem mounting the nacelle with my passing lamps?

No, no problem. It all fits nicely.. I did that same thing years ago when I had my '90 Heritage.
Now I have my '94 FatBoy, which is my lean machine...& I added the pass lamps & signals also..

Yep, I have installed the RK pass lamps & signals on my 94 Fat Boy.
I'm not adding the nacelle this time tho..
I agree the T signals just don't look rite on the H bars.. I'm real pleased with the RK light set-up........It's an easy conversion..
Additionally: I swapped my Rear turn signals for (red lense) dual filament similiar units & hard-wired then into extra running & brake lights. Then added Drag 'Amber capsules' lites into the ends of the struts for turn signals only & now I'm better lit up in the back end also...
