No regrets. The 16's are just right for me.If anything I'd go higher rather than lower.

fatboy rim size
Just trying to sort out the rim sizes on what might fit my 2005 Fatboy. Correct me if I'm wrong...
16" front fits 00 to 06 Fatboys Part Number 41043-00
16" rear fits 03 to 06 Fatboys
I'm looking for a set to get polished. Anyone have a part number for the rear?

New 07 Fatboy here
I'm a new VTF member and new owner of 07 FatBoy. Since I purchased the bike in Sept. I have added V&H Big Shots Staggered, PCIII and Ness a/f as well as goodies like grips, detacheable backrest, floorboard inserts,etc.. Currently in the process of having chrome forks installed and by this time next month should have new (HogPro Smoothie) chrome solid wheels on. Wasn't a fan of the cast stock bullet hole wheels either. Another dislike about the 07 FB was the new graphics they came out with. Really took away from the traditional look IMO. However, the 6-speed, 96 cubic inch and 200mm rear tire make up for it.
Hey JTP, which solo seat you have on?

Wow, there are a bunch of Fat Boy owners on this thread. So let me add another. Mine is a '97, stretched tanks, custom paint, Screamin Eagle exhaust. New plans include, shaving that conglomeration of junk off the rear fender. Frenched in license plate, LED signals and tail lamp. New V&H pipes (my son keeps melting shoes on the others, need a set that runs under the rear footpegs) any recomendations? I also want a seat I can change to a solo a little easier. I like the look of a solo, but my kids like riding too. Any thoughts on the seat will be appreciated.

A lot of very nice FatBoy's out there, so I might as well add mine to the 'herd'.....
2003 Anniversity FatBoy, upgraded grips and floorboards, Mark IV cruise arms, Stage 1 and SEII's, SERT with dyno tune, HD detachable saddle bags, detachable sissy bar/luggage rack, detachable windshield, 4.5" Deluxe risers, and probably a few other things I've forgotten to mention...
I've owned Harley's since back in 1972 ('72 1200 FX SuperGlide was my first new bike), and this FatBoy is great both 'stripped down' and in 'full dress' mode. It's a keeper.

Hi guys, i'm a new member in the uk. I have an 05 15th anniversary model in black which i bought brand new. Its my first harley and its a great bike,iv'e added lots of extra's including v and h big radius pipes, custom seat and many others. My only problem is the wheels, i'm now on my third set, replaced under warranty as the alloy keeps corroding underneath the chrome rims and marks the chrome badly. Harley just keep replacing them.Is this a widespread problem or am i just unlucky?. Great forum,i'm looking forward to using it more.

I live in a very rural area (not a single stop light in the entire County) down around the SE Kansas, NE Oklahoma, SW Missouri, NW Arkansas border area....
The land of "ice and snow" (at least so far this winter)..

Rear Fender Question
I have an 04 and just noticed the rear fender is almost touching the tire on the left hand side. I cannot fit my fingers between the fender and the tire on the left but the right has plenty of room. Does anybody els have an issue like this?
