HO LEE CRAP! MadMav! What the hell, that is one cool ride. I like the pipes just couldn't picture them on my bike, now I can. Are they loud or what? You did an awsome job turning a stock ride into something thats in a class of its own. Definatly one of a kind. Great job!

Not mine, that's all abendx.
At first I didn't like it, then about two seconds later, WOW! It grew on me fast!

I can't post any pictures of my Lava Red Sunglo Night Train since I can't pick it up until March. I have managed to just about wear out the J&P catalog I have as well as the Harley one and the Dennis Kirk Catalog, too many things, too many wants, not enough darn money

Nice Trains, everybody!
I'll get a pic of my '03 up here soon... no sun here in Portland yet!
On the '03 the stock rear already is 150. I wanna see if I can squeeze a 160 in there...
All I can add is don't fight the Black, Go with it! Personally, I prefer not to see ANY chrome on a NT. And I'm gettin' there, slowly!

WarLord,
It's chrome..... polished is too much work to maintain. I'm getting a few pits on the pulley already though. When I get the back wheel I might get the pulley rechromed.

Thanks Bimini
Your bars, 501's right? How they feel? I'll might get ones for my FXST and I'm short (5 and 11) and quite short-handed. Don't wanna be forced to reach for the bars too much. Any thoughts? Should I go with the 507's?
Thanks. And great lookin' wheels you got. Both of them...

Sorry to be replying to an older topic, but I'm an FNG and just saw the topic tonight.
My God! there are some fine looking Night Trains on this board! I have a 2003 Night Train but it does not look nearly as good as those posted in this thread. Not meaning to slight anyone, but Bimini and csoday those are some awesome looking motorcycles.
Bimini, thanks for the info you posted in this thread on some of the parts you used. I think I'll use a few of those on my Night Train.
csoday, what type of exhaust system are you using? I like the all black exhaust system.
Guess I'd better plan on working lots of overtime so I can fix up my Night Train too.
