Just got back from agreeing to buy an 07 Night Train w/1300 miles on it...for $12k. It's denim black with V&H slash-cut shotgun pipes, power commander, Screamin' Eagle Stage 1 breather, matching grips and pegs. I think I'm getting a good deal. Opinions?

Yup,
Good deal fo-sho! Congrats Scott, I think you're gonna fall in love again.
I know I love mine and I'm missing her somethin' terrible (I'm on temporary duty in the Far East for 3 weeks - can't imagine an actual 365 day deployment to the War on Terror).
Post some pics of yours.

The thing that really attracted me to my Night Train (and still does) is the wrinkle black finish on the motor, tranny, etc. I just spray 409 on, wait 5 min., and hose it off. The small bits of chrome I have here and there (and pipes) are easy to keep shiny, and looks good even after wet road miles. If the Cross Bones was more blacked out like a train, it would be way bitchin'...

BAD news
Well...the guy who AGREED to sell me the Night Train backed out on me...he said, "Sorry...I just can't get rid of it...it's ME!!!!"
Asked me if i had any hard feelings....I said, "Nah...I understand." I was SO wanting that bike...oh, well... maybe another good deal will come along.

I haven't done **** with mine for months but I do have 6400 miles on it now and it is almost due for some tires.
I did decide on the mission for this winter. I am going to take on the biggest bike project i have done so far. Eric and i are going to strip her down to the bones and powder the chassis green like antifreeze green, i am going to take the stocks skins off and do a traditional flame set to list on ebay ( anyof you looking for a paint set ?? ) Then i plan on getting a stretched tank and the mama jama wwc front and rear fenders. The paint will be green truefire 90% coverage and the traditional black flames over that so all of the badd ass wrinkle **** will be the contrast on the bike I believe ( if i can pull of the truefire ) it will be bitchin!! I think that if I take on all of that this winter will fly by..

[quote=bgibbster;1455316]Here is mine
bgibbster,
What part of Tejas you from? I'm up here in
Wichita Falls - you may see me refer to it as
Wacheeta Flats.
Originally from the DFW metro-mess and still ride there
monthly with my dad ('07 Dyna Low) and brother ('03 V-Rod).
BTW, is your screen name any relation to the Brothers Gibb?
They were my favorite....in 1975.
Stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
Just kiddin' but I like your Train...brand spankin' new huh?
