I want to tighten up the belt on my 05 Custom but I'm not sure of the torque specs for the axel, I plan on buying the manual but haven't yet so any help would be appreciated. On my Ultra it's 105lbs but I've heard that some bikes are 65, just want to be sure so I don't cause bearing damage...TIA

For an the XL {my RK & Dyna also} its 50-55 for the front, 60-65 for the rear axle nut.
Where did U get 105lbs from?

On my Ultra it's 95-105 lbs on the rear, per the service manual

Rear axle torque spec's were changed when HD went to the larger rear axle and axle cams to adjust the rear belt.
If I remember correctly (going all the way back to Evo's at least), the rear axle is 60-65 lbs. Front is 50 lbs.
