bullet turn signal disassembly?

anyone here know how to take the late model bullet turn signals apart. i want to powder coat them.

Its not that hard. Pull off lens. Pop out bulbs. Then take a pick and GENTLY pry around the rubber seal. When you are prying, it will move out a little at a time....

I took an old bulb, removed all the glass, leaving just the metal base, epoxied it to a 6" length of wooden dowel... viola, bullet signal guts remover tool!

stick it in the socket, twist to lock, pull and wiggle, and out comes the insides. (man, if that sentence isn't laced with innuendoes )

I made one for the signgle filament and one for the dual filament sockets
