rear fender question

O.K. hears a dumb question that I think I already know. I am looking at redoing the back end of my bike with the kit from Arlen Ness and buying a tombstone rear light. Some that I've looked at say they won't work on a fat bob rear fender. Is the Road King rear considered a fat bob fender?
Thanks

I believe you may be refering to a bobbed fender, which comes stock on wide glides. No a Road king rear is not a bobbed or fat bob as you put it fender.

Please tell us the kit you are planning to use from arlen ness on your road king. Are you asking if the tombstone light will fit on a fat bob fender? Your stock road king fender is not a fat bob fender. A fat bob fender is a popular aftermarket style that is available from many companies but doesn't come stock on a road king? If you are wondering if the light will fit the arlen ness kit, tell us what you plan to use or 1)contact the maker of the tombstone light and ask them if it will fit the ness kit 2) contact ness and ask which tombstone light kit they recomend installing on their fender.

Alaska, the kit I'm going to use is the Ness wide fender and bag cover kit. It is a fiberglass fender cover that flares out to cover the area between the fender and tha saddlebags and extends down lower in back past the pipes. It also has a bag extention that wraps around the pipe to create an "O" opening with the fender for the pipes to fit through. Thanks for your answers.
