Look what I found "Harley Color Codes"

I found this and though maybe it could helps some other people who are looking for paint for there bikes. They list there codes and supposly the MoCo codes also. I am going to order a quart of "Scalet Red" to see if it matches my FFSE before painting my sidecar to match.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on
"Color Rite Master Paint List"

I never had any luck with a color matching exactly, even if it were a "factory pack". Gun pressure, temp and humidity all make a difference. It always had to be tinted to some extent if you wanted it perfect. Ofcourse this was painting cars and it had to be blended perfectly or the customer would Sh*t a Brick. I always think you should spray a pratice panel to take outside to check the color match. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.

What do you put for "User Name" and "Password"? Even the home page has no way to sign up. I went to the application chart but there is no info there...????

res2cue, if all else fails you can go to any quality automotive paint supply store & they should have a gadget that will analyze the existing paint & print out a paint mix that will match. I recently had to do this to match a HD Radical Flames paint set. Color matched very well IMO.

My 05 wide glide is considered a 2 color; Sun Glow blue and Chopper Blue pearl. So I have 2 touch up paints "chopper blue" and "sun glow blue topcoat". So it seems that there may be a chopper blue top coat as well as the stripe colors; whatever they are.
Does anyone know what ALL these color codes are??

kustom_flames is reading this now saying WTF is this?
Just an FYI - any tri-stage paint will not work on a color eye. So example sunglows...you won't get a match by bringing in a piece to the paint shop. There will be a specific base color and then a mid (candy) that is needed. I use PPG and they have just about all the info you need since they do the OEM colors for HD. Find a PPG dist. in your area...

What he said plus the PPG stores are usually less than the ColorRite prices for quarts.

Is your bike one of Harley's Custom colors or is it a standard color for the year?

Yeah, the dealer accessory guide will have all the info for your model. Remember if you're buying new paint, you also need to buy the proper base paint too, usually a silver or pink metallic.

I just picked up a 2000 Dyna Low Rider that needs a rear fender. I've got the fender and I know the primary color (Suede Green). What I need help with is the pin stripe colors. One is a light blue (or teal) and the other is silver. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm squirting the green this weekend and clearing it over. I am hoping to scuff that down and shoot the pinstripes and reclear the weekend after that.
The included picture is a stock photo but, the pin stripe color scheme is what I am trying to match.
