Color Match Paint Spray Help

I have a couple of parts I want to paint Olive Pearl to match the bike color. There are couple of websites I found that offer "rattle can" color match IE.

I've tried these premixed rattle cans(and compressor with professoinal guns as well) on other projects with little success. The problem is the color doesn't even come close. Let me rephrase that, it's not so much the color as the tone.

Does it make a difference what color the primer is? My painting attempts seem to come out a lot darker. I've tried both grey and black primer and get the same darker shade.

I'm not looking for perfection, but needs to be somewhat close.

Spray cans are for graffiti, lawn furniture and BBQ's. You will NEVER get a perfect match by nature. Color and tone as well as pearl dispersion are all controlled by gun volume and air pressure, none of which you will find in a spray can. Primer will affect color as well. Bite the bullet and have a REAL painter do it right, and cry once. Look up Pat on the forum user name Kustom Flames. He'll do you right.
