Painting stock cast wheels ??

Has anyone tryed this ? How did it turn out ? Any tips ?
I switched out the stock cast (UGLY) front wheel on my RK a couple years ago, now I find I hate trying to keep laced wheels clean & looking good---yea I may be lazy!

i have painted a ton of wheels over the years both cast and billet/chrome. paint, if done right will hold up just as good as powder will. how they look in the end is just like anything and will depend on the prep work. you can give them a few good coats of an epoxy primer and sand the casting smooth. from there you can use a single stage urethane or base/clear. ss will be the most durable in that situation but is not always the best way to go if its a metallic color. all colors may not be available in a single stage either.
