I have an 01 883C in concord purple pearl. I want a new color. Should I repaint the parts I have or by new tins, spray them, and hold onto the originals?????

gsxrboy96 is an unknown quantity at this point
I would consider changing tanks on the sporty, looks of good options there, the stock tank just doesnt do it for me on them, id keep the fenders tho...just my two cents.

If you can get a good deal on a spare set of tins, than go for it! Not sure if you were wanting the original to keep if you traded/sold it down the road...but I hear that the purple isn't a great resale color anyhow....so you may want to spray over em afterall...

Whatever you do, don't go aftermarket unless you really want to change the look. Aftermarket tanks need pressure testing and bodywork as do most aftermarket fenders too, so count on a couple hundred bucks before paint!
