specifically...the Dark Blue Pearl...inquiring minds want to know...

I have been trying to get a complete list together for the 08's, just havent had time, do you know the exact name Harley used for the paint. I am sure with that I can get you the proper ppg code.

Check page 729 of the '09 catalog. They have colors listed for Dark Blue Pearl. Hope that helps.

nope...that's not the right one...it's not the denim or flat color...if you go back to the Harley website & look under 2008 motorcycles...one of the available colors on the 08 Street Glide is "Dark Blue Pearl"...that is the one I am still looking for...

The name threw me off as the Denum was the only one PPG has as "Dark Blue Pearl"
There is a "Dark Blue" they have listed and there is a CRYSTAL RED PEARL in the formula.
There is a "Prime" and a "Greener than Prime" under "Special" colors.
DARK BLUE 2008 Body
Harley code: 8L56
PPG Code: 917828
I see that under both "Names" they have Harley Code:8L56 After looking at both formulas they are identical. Just different clears on top, one gloss and one flat.

I have it at the shop...can get it on Sunday for you...
PPG should be able to tell you though and then you shoot their flex n flat clear over it...
