I have been looking for a classic solo for my road king classic for a while now. I'm having a hard time shelling out the $400.00 Corbin is asking for on their web site. The best prices I have seen have been on E-Bay (new). I do however, think the seats are old stock. When I questioned one dealer about the locking feature, he replied that the seat is new in the box, but dosen't have the "stupid" locking feature. I believe the locking feature is a somewhat new feature, so he is selling old stock.

I bought 2 off ebay. The solo from American Classic Motors and dual tour from Biker Haven. Each was current model with great 'buy it now' prices and service. American Classic also cut me a deal on the added pillion pad. I'd do business with either again in a heart beat.

I bought a Corbin for my "E" Glide a couple of weeks ago, got the best price from M & M Cycles and service was excellent.

i have had a few corbins on different bikes.
if you see one the way you like it on ebay and it is cheap i would go for it.

but corbin will do custom leather however you like it and you have more options when you buy direct.
don't try to order custom through a dealer. . . unless you are very patient !

Ditto. I just spent the last couple months shopping for cheaper prices on a corbin close solo. Unless you find something on ebay.. your better off going direct. The savings you'll find are minute and like one guy said, "it will be old stock". Going direct is your best option.
