What are you working on... there are differences....generally the FL bikes have a bracket welded to the frame that will accept pegs. Boards etc..m the FX series bikes do not have the plate.. I know of no kit to do the conversion... you can probably use OEM mounts adapted to make it happen..ive seen it done many times in many ways.. it all hinges on the bike and the controls you have...
For floorboards to be stable and strong, there must be 2 mounting points..

I know that on the older FX/FL bikes (I'm talking shovel old) softail style footboards are a direct bolt on.

According to the link you provided, those will fit anywhere there's a peg.

I think you are going to have to just try it. Not everything is a direct fit, but mix and match can work

What bike do you have? I had an 06 Softail and bought some heritage take offs that bolted right on.

ETA: a friend of mine bought some like on your link for his sportster. Pretty crappy quality. I would personally not use them.

You have the unfortunately odd style forwards...they look like the peg and extension are 1 piece... the clevis especially you linked won't put the board out far enough to clear the shifter.. I don't think. Those clevis's are available in lengths from the link to about 4" iirc...but will pivot and swivel in service as there is no second mounting bolt.... fxr's were not set up for boards, except the the P and T models the frames have a couple differences from standard fxr frames...-smooth unless you can fabricate you may be SOL, or have rotating floorboards..

The forwards on your bike are some of the better ones for fxr's. I wouldn't cobble them up trying to attach cheap floorboards to them. If you're going to do that. Buy a cheap set of forwards put those on and attach the boards to them. Sell your forwards to someone who will appreciate a good set..
