Thumbs up

MUSTANG

The only way to go for comfort.
Who knows why, they just are, its the way they're made.
Wide Vintage Touring. Plenty of comfortable seat for you AND your rider.

Best looking-Corbin. Real leather, low profile, excellent fit.
Most comfortable-Corbin. Passanger and rider backrest capability. Seat material that comforms to your seat after a few miles.
Best made-Corbin
Best price-You get what you pay for.

I have ridden a few thousand miles on factory seats, and had a Mustang on my 95 Road King, before the Corbin, and the Corbin is the best I've had.

Regards,

Bill

Wink

Corbin, LePera, and some others do make some good looking, very stylist seats. So does Mustang. If you want cool looking style, pick anyone of them. If you want comfort, you want Mustang.

Guess it's a matter of personal taste. I have probably 110,000 miles on Corbins and about 5,000 on a Mustang. I prefer the Corbin. I ordered the Corbin for my EG Classic before the bike was delivered.

Bill

Mustang or Corbin?

Mustang or Corbin? Sounds like Ford and Chevy. Both would probably be great. What models specifically should I look at? Thx..

I have the Corbin Dual Touring on my EG Classic, and had the Solo with the touring Pillion on my Roadking. My wife had a Corbin gunfighter and lady on her low rider, and now has a Dual Touring on her Heritage. The Mustang I had was a one piece touring seat.

The wife and I have ridden some near 600 mile days (Sturgis to Walsenburg, Co.) on the Corbins, and they are good long distance touring seats.

Regards,

Bill

Corbin!

Have had a Corbin on all five Harleys. Once they are broken in, they are an all day saddle for both rider and passenger. We did a 350 mile putt in Northern Arizona last Sunday, and the Corbin was perfect all day!

Rev. Dickie,

I couldn't agree more. We are not around town riders, most of our rides are at least 200 miles per day, and usually 300 to 400 with a few 500's thrown in. The more the Corbin is ridden the better it gets.

We were in your area over Labor Day. Went from Bloomfield,NM to ShowLow, to Prescott via Globe and Payson, to Flagstaff then back home. We rode about 1200 miles in three days. This is wonderful riding country. Salt River Canyon, Oak Creek, Prescott to Jerome, etc.

Regards,

Bill

my 2 cents

I found the Mustangs were all to big and bulky for me and my style of riding.

The Corbin is a great choice but very expensive.

I went with a Le Pera and found it to be a great choice. Its full leather, gel extreamly comfortable with out the bulk that spreads my legs and keeps my feet off the ground. The price by far is the best for what you get.

Good luck

My vote also has to go to Mustang. Buy what you want, but if you want the best all around seat you will eventually get a Mustang. I already went down the trial and error road and wasted time and money in the process.

I ordered a Mustang..

Thanks for all of the advice. Based on price and immediate break-in aspect, I ordered a Mustang touring seat. I'll have it in about a week. I'm sure my wife will be pleased... Thanks again!!

You did not make a mistake. I make the run to Sturgis in 3 days or less (600+/day minimum) and the Mustang is the best saddle I've had. Hell, last year I did the return trip in 1 1/2 days and it was great.
