Airhawk Whats your Opinion

I did search this site for Airhawk posts and did not find anything from someone who has actually used it. The airhawk was recently rated by Motorcycle Consumer News (MCN) as a recomended buy, but was tested on a buell. I ride an 03 Ultra with the stock seat and can usually run 300-400 on the stocker before my butt starts to bug me.
Anybody give this Airhawk a try?

I stopped and bought one a few years ago while on a long trip riding a Valkyrie with the stock seat ( a killer}. It was pretty comfortable.

How about this one http://www.stic.net/users/windtech/ seems like it might be a cheaper alternative.

My girlfriend bought one for me at a rally out in western PA last year. It's the best seat pad I've ever used. Much better than a gel pad. In fact, I bought one for my brother for his birthday and gave my gel pad to a friend. They are very pricey, but if you plan on doing any 500+ mile days, it's worth it.

Thanks for all the info, I think since you laid out the clams for your brothers birthday it must be worth it!

I have had an Airhawk for over a year they are kind of expensive but it is probably the best investment I have made. It's made all the difference on longer trips I even use it on short crusies (don't leve home without it). But again I am a comfort monger.
