What seat to isolate engine vibration the best?

What solo seat would isolate the engine vibration on 1997 Softail the best, any other options than solo spring seat??

Since the 1997 is a EVO non-balanced engine mounted in the solid frame, there is very little a new seat will do.

How bad is the vibration?

no seat will fix that. fix the motor, then buy a swat that you can seat for 8 hours at cruise. it may be as simple as the tune, or exhaust, but it aint the seat. also, dropping the motor sprocket may put you at a smoother rpm.

JustDave71 is an unknown quantity at this point
got a 94 and the vibration is far from intolerable with a lepera solo seat.

seems to me that it aint the seat.

Everything is fine with motor, its the normal EVO vibration. Its just my lower back that is sensitive. Nerve damage at lower back, that is getting worse even sitting on bike at idle for 10 minutes.... Forward sitting position makes me sit bit longer on rides.... The more I lean backwards, the worse is the experience, due the resonation is getting directly to the lowest backbones...

Just wondering those spring seats should isolate the resonation away from my sensitive arse->back.. , am I right?

A seat like that (used by a lot of police) may help; but if it was me I wouldn't risk paralysis if I had a bad back injury.

gotcha! those sprung seats may kick your spine into an even worse position. might i suggest a mustang or corbin with backrest?
