Still trying to figure this out Mustang Solo Question

Has anybody put a Mustang Solo with backrest (part #79102) on a RK (2006) with the Stock Passenger Pad?????

J&P Cycles and other sites say that the Mustang Solo will fit the stock passenger pad on my 06 RK. I emailed Mustang and they said, not to my surprise, that it would not fit.

Here is a picture of the seat, and statements that say it will fit. But again, according to Mustang they are wrong. Had one person tell me a while back that it should work, just might push into the passenger pad some - if so I might be able to live with that unless it looks bad or would wear the pad out, etc.

I would appreciate hearing from anybody that has tried this! Thanks

The fitment will depend on how far the front of your stock passenger pillion rolls over your current driver seat. If it rolls over to far, it will interfere with the Driver Backrest and/or it's adjustment screw.

Do you have a pic of your rear seat?

If your going to a major rally next year, we can fit one on for you to make sure everything fits.

Hope this helps.
