Broken Street Glide Seat

I am on my third stock Street Glide Seat. Has anyone else had any problems or noticed the design of the seat? The tongue that screws to your fender is usually attached to the seat by two bolts.....not the 09 street glide seat. It is attached with plastic and a rivet. Very dissapointed in the seat.....love the bike.

Have a new stock seat on the way...anyone out there that loves the stock seat and wants to trade for a solo that would fit an 09 street glide?

I can't say I love the stock seat but I do have a new LePera Bare Bones solo that has about 15 miles on it I would be willing to trade. Yes it fit's the 09 streetglide, that is what I had it on.

Farmstaed, I bought a LePera Bare Bones Solo for my 09 FLHX and it was terrible. It looked great but after 15 minutes it was the most uncomfortable seat I've ever ridden on and I've had six Harley's. I sold it on Craigslist a week later. LePera stated I was to heavy for the seat, 225lbs, and that is why they named the seat "Bare Bones"!! I guess if your a litle guy it will work ok. By the way, I sold it to a guy who is 5'6", 135 lbs. Just an FYI
