Seat Dilemma

My '09 Ultra's stock seat just wasn't right. So I replaced with an HD Sundowner, a seat I've had on other bikes. I like it.

That's the good news.

The girlfriend says the new seat passenger cushion is too small. I measured the Sundowner, too, and indeed it's almost 3" narrower than the stock seat passenger cushion. She's unhappy. So, how can I fix it?

I've looked at other HD seats, and it seems none of them are as wide as the stock seat. I even put the stock seat on an tried a gel-pad for me. Didn't help.

Any Ideas on another seat or something else?

get girlfriend a gym membership.. she will get mad and leave.. prob. solved ?? no but really lots of seats out there just tons of money to try them and hope they work.. best bet is to check out seats on other bikes when ever you go places and maybe you will see something. there is no cheep answer IMO.

Good luck

I second that on Mustang seat.
I have the two peice Mustang seat on my ElectraGlide Classic and my wife likes her part of the seat it is just as wide as the stock seat.

Thanks for the tips. Though I'm thinking the gym would be nice for the both of us! I'll check out the Mustangs and keep an eye on the bike gatherings for other ideas.

C&C Wide Passenger Seat, C&C Sport Tour Seat

You might want to check out the C&C Wide Passenger Seat, called the C&C Sport Tour Seat. You can also add gel padding to the driver and passenger seating areas:

Fits, Ultra Glides, FLHT Electra Glide and FLTR Road Glide

Drivers width 14 ¼" and 6 ¾" Lumbar,
12" Passenger area with various Stitch Patterns available or just plain.
