Can an older Mustang be made to fit the new frame?

going from an 07 to a 2010 and have a Mustang that fits me great, hate to give it up. I'm wondering, can an older seat be made to fit or is it futile?

Thats a good question. I got on from a 07 I had and just ordered a Mustang for my 09. Guess I just need to sell the other one. When I get the new seat I will compare them and see what would have to be done to make it fit.

My understanding is that they will actually fit in that you can put it on the bike. Apparently, the contact points do not match up so you are rubbing in places and the seat is not properly supported.

BTW, I love my Mustang!
