seat help

i am looking into getting a lepera seat but i want to know where can i find the diff. bikes it will fit!!!

for instance i got a 99 Dyna superglide. will a 99 WG seat fit.... will a seat for a sportster fit, will a 90-95 seat fit a 99 etc.......

understand what i am asking???

you could look at mustang or corbins site or even a HD p&a catalog and see what years it lists for your bike I do know that only a dyna seat will work on yuor 99 dyna and it will depend if its a solo or 2 up which ones a solo from a WG will fit but not a 2 up .

thanks that what ws afraid of!!! i was hoping there was a "magical" chart some one had made!!!! lol

This is how I understand it. 96 to 2003 all had the same frame so the seats for any of those years are interchangeable. 2004 to 2005 HD changed the frame so only a seat from those years will fit those bikes. This I know because I have an 05 Super Glide. Then HD changed the frame again for 06 and up.

The main difference in a seat for a WG is the length of the mounting bracket on the back of the seat. The part that mounts to the fender. WGs have a longer bracket than Super Glides because the mounting hole is in a different place.
