Stock Pillion Not working for the wife... : V-Twin Forum: Harley Davidson Forums

So my wife and I took our first notable ride tonight, we went 125 miles. By the time we got home she was very uncomfortable, and we can't have that. Today I ordered the "touring" passenger pillion so hopefully that will make her more comfortable. Anyone else have this same one? Thought it would be cheaper than buying a whole new setup for now. Once we get some more miles under our belts maybe we'll have a better idea of what we want.

Bought a new 14" pillion a few months back for my wife. She seems to like it better, but we still have to stop for breaks. I just start getting comfortable and she starts to wiggle and complain.

I'm thinking an Ultra is in our future. Although I love the Heritage and think its the sexiest bike HD makes, I need to think of my wife and her needs.

I hear ya Big-G, I get my first Harley two weeks ago, and I'm already thinking Street Glide....I guess it's just the natural progression of things. Of course I have no intention of getting rid of the springer

It's cheaper than buying a new bike, but not cheap. It's worth the money for comfort, IMO.
