Sportster Motorcycle seat

I own a '96 Sportster and prior to this year, the longest trips I have made were approximately 200 miles. Three weeks ago, I traveled close to 2500 miles over nine days. My biggest problem with this trip was the uncomfortable stock seat. I see that Mustang makes a solo seat with a back rest that could cure the ills of a sore behind. I'm a little cautious because of the price. Would any of you recommend this seat and if so, why?

I put a Mustang Solo seat with ajustable back rest on my 2009 Dyna. Got some herniated discs and couldnt get over 50 miles on the stock seat without getting off for a stretch. I can do 200 plus now with the Mustang Seat. I can push back from the highway pegs against the back rest and take the pressure off. Much better now.The only concern might be if you are taller than 6 ft. the Mustang set seems to move you closer to the tank a bit ( at least on my Dyna). Im 5'7 so it was not an issue for me. Overall the difference for me was like night and day.

I don't have back problems and just under 6'. My problem is that my underwear and jeans seem to bunch under me and I can't get comfortable after about 30 miles out. I squirm around trying to find comfort. I can see a plus for the back rest but do you think the seat itself would help my bunching problem?

Try less underwear and some Asprin.

The mustang seat might solve that problem ,but I think there may be cheaper way to do it. Like no underware.
