1996 Electra Glide Sissy Bar

Hi guys!

I have a '96 Electra Glide Police unit. I am trying to find a sissy bar to fit, so I can haul some luggage around. I have been looking around and can't find anything to fit. Do I just order something for a '96 Road King?

Also, what is the name of the bar that I can get to wrap around the fender to replace the tour pack plate thingy. It should be in the shape of a "U."

Thanks!

I have a 96 as well. The passenger backrest assembly bolts to the plate on the back of the bike and has tie down hooks. Is that what you're looking for?

Nope. I am looking to get rid of the entire deal. I want to get the side plates and a bar to slip over it. I don't want the tour pack flat plate there anymore. I just want to see fender and sissy bar.

Don't know the exact name of that " U " shaped bar BUT' I did the same exact thing to my ultra. Went to the stealer , told them what I was going to do, they ordered the bar, for only 86.00 $$$$$$
Hope this helps..

Hey thanks for the advice. I actually went to the stealer last weekend, "part has been discontinued."

Oh, and what are "wild pig pipes?"

Excellent! Also, I talked to a nice tech guy over at J&P Cycles and he instructed me that the Road King stuff fits my unit no problem.

Now I am trying to find a medium sized sissy bar. I would like something that comes off the fender around 17 inches.

Anyhow, here is the bracket I will be getting.

Milwaukee Twins® Chrome Sissy Bar Side Plates
