2000 Ultra seat has split seam !

Hello everyone,

What can be done to repair a 2 inch split in the seam on the left side of my seat? It is in the area where the top of the seat meets the side.

I just purchased the bike and didn't see the spilt. It is barely noticeable, but the seller didn't mention it, and I didn't see it before I handed over the $$

I'm pissed. Can something like that be repaired, or does the whole darn seat need to be replaced?

Dont know if it could be restiched may take it to a tack shop or someone who does car interrior...if not may be the time to upgrade the seat or check e-bay for a replacement...Just a few suggestions...good luck.

Thanks

I tried eBay....found a new seat, but it was for a 1984 FLH or older.....I'll keep looking.

Thanks again,

Why would you want a stock seat to replace it with. Ride the seat you have for awhile then you will make the decision to replace it with something other than a stock seat.

Why do you think there are so many stock seats available for sale. I have one too. Replaced mine with the Mustang one piece touring seat and driver backrest.

I also have a Mustang FLHT ultra touring seat, smooth no studs, for sale. I tried it; liked the higher seating position, however, developed hip pain in my left hip. Will sell, shipping included, for $300.00.

Hey nummy, if you want to sell that torn seat to me at a cheap price, let me know. I just want the seat pan, so the ripped vinyl doesn't matter to me
