Question mustang adj. back rest

I'm in Canada going to the states to pick up a mustang back rest for my 09 roadking. I would like to install it while I'm their. What specific tools might I need?
thanks a whole bunch

I would think a basic socket set and a couple screw drivers would probably get the job done. They have excellent customer service. Give them a call and tell them what you are buying. They will probably send you a pdf file by email with the install instructions so you can be prepared.

Philips screwdriver to get the seat on & off. Couple of sockets or box end wrenches to bolt it it. That's about it, I just installed mine along with the new seat. I'm not thrilled about the up & down adjustment - no stops to keep someone from accidentally or intentionally pulling it out. It is comfortable, though.

If you are just getting the back rest because you already have a Mustang seat then you don't need any tools if memory is correct. The backrest just pushes down and has detents to set the height. Then you have a lock thumb screw to adjust your forward/back movement.
