Does the Sundowner change the riding position much, as compared to the stock seat? I find that on my 03 RG that I am just resting flat footed at a stop. I could actually stand to be pushed forward by about an inch or so too.

I put a SUndowner on my Cross Bones, mainly to cut down on the biotch bites & while the gf liked it - I couldn't STAND it. Every little bump in the road jarred my back...I took it back to the dealer & ordered a Mustang One-Piece Extra Wide Regal Duke & life is once again good. Just got back from a 40 mile spin & I like the riding position & the comfort & the GF doesn't hafta gnaw on my ears any more!

I put one on the deuce. Very comfortable on the long haul. G/F much happier. Does raise me a bit from the stock seat but then again it does have extra padding. Rasied her up a little more too. Every butt's different though. Well worth the $100 I paid used.

I've got an almost brand new Sundowner, p/n 51841-06, for $200, cost $325 new, off my 2007 Softail Deluxe, wife loved it for the Sturgis ride, we just got an 09 FLHRC, so hence the sale.

I've had mine for maybe a year. I won't be taken off. I love it and the wife is very happy with it over the stock seat and the stocker wasn't bad either. Worth every $$$$ I spent.
