Mustang Regal and Wrap around Passenger Backrest

I am six foot and 190lbs. I expect I will be 150 by the time the Wife gets back in 6.5 months from her deployment with the Navy. Anyway its the Mustang Regal with the Mustang wrap around passenger backrest. I used my HD drivers backrest for now as it has the slit in the seat for the backrest. I did have to move down the backrest mount one bolt hole to line up with the new Mustang. On the tour pack the three bolts do not line up perfectly with the wrap around passenger backrest. It will fit but puts inward pressure on the tour pack to the point the tour pack didn't line completely up with the latches. I might widen the end bolt holes a hair to keep the pressure off the fiberglass. Mustang says it supposed to be like that but being a 09 EG Classic I prefer not to take chances. I loosened the nuts a hair and the tour pack is fine now. I still might widen the holes some. Where on the OEM passenger backrest leaves a space between it and the top of the tour pack the Mustang sits snug and rest on top but with zero vibration or rubbing even at idle.
The looks are outstanding and today it is raining cats and dogs so a ride will have to wait. However sitting on the seat with the bike straight up it feels great and pushes me an inch up and forward which I like because it moves me closer to the grips. I have a very good feeling this is going to be a great riding seat. Oh- I also added the floorboard extensions and that helped a lot by moving my feet out a little. Highly recommended.
