Anybody tried Saddlemen Road Sofa?

I've got a 98 RK. Just got a saddleman road sofa for it & this thing is TALL!The bike had a mustange seat with drivers back rest & I've been stuck with it for a couple years.Rode about 200 miles the other day & would have sworn my ass fell off!I guess I got used to the low profile because when put on the new one it felt like I was ridding a twn speed bicycle.Do these things settle down a little after they break in?How are they on trips?Got to be better than that other P.O.S.

Have had one on my Ultra for the last 10k and think it's a good saddle. I had mine custom made by Saddlemen to move me forward and lower. It's now comparable to the Harley reach seat for positioning, but the Road Sofa has better lumbar and thigh support as well as the gel padding allows for longer more comfortable riding.

I have a Road Sofa that is a two tone seat with the gel inside. A pretty firm seat but excellant back support. Actually the more you ride it the more use to the firmness you get. Its funny though it seems to absorb bumps better. Mine is about .5" taller sitting in the saddle but it moves you forward a bit. Feels very comfortable with your feet on the floor boards. Just a good dyanmic riding position. Mine is made for a RK and have it on my EG so may get the thigh area shaved a bit. Or may sell it, who knows. keepem sharp
