I am looking for a 1982 FRX Shovelhead for a touring type bike. The early 5 speed transmissions have a weak clutch hub because of the tapered shaft. They all crack at the key way. The later uses a splined shaft. Then in 90 they also went to the later style starters. So the 90-94 transmission would be a big improvement for reliability and starting.
