IS that clutch lock up with the bump?? Just did one with stock T/B and I can see where the larger T/b helped out with both hp and tq. VERY NICE DREW !!! Not hikjacking your thread but to show the change by adding the t/b looks well worth the extra money. Without a doubt this engine could have used a larger t/b. Again great job bet that will put a huge smile on your customers face!!!!! Nothing like great tq

HUH I have seen rfi come into play on my dyno and it leaves a gap in the line , never seen it create a bump.

what causes the rf? is it bleed from secondary ignition, charging system and bad ground making a certain HZ? the dyno just has a pickup, cant see it generating RF. i would think RF would be plug wires or non resistor plugs, but that is old school stuff.

You may want to look into the Woods TW5-6 also we have great results in the late model touring bikes with this cam. It comes on early and also hits nice mid to 6ooo rpm We installed 5 sets in Feb-09 all in touring bikes every customer liked the throttle response you should see around 110HP and 125 TQ with your set up Good luck

Now we have a sheet that backs it up!
were are all those that said it couldn't be done?
Nice job Tony!
I knew you were not blowing smoke!

For a FXD I personaly would shoot for top end hp, although this dyno sheet shows a very good pull down low with the Fatcats, I am positive it would have much better top end hp with a good set of true duals, for that FXD.

You mean like on your bike XTRACTOR? I would like to see the comparison as well-

That bump is the clutch starting to slip before the VP lock up works this bike could use a stronger lock up. Doc's close to say RF noise but we don't see to much RF noise with late model EFI bikes anymore

I dont have the means to post, and I do stand to be corrected by many here but as comparison my 07 FXD has a vary simular build except for the Rosas bigger heads and fatcat exhaust. My graft shows best hp pulling starting at about 3.5-4.0 rpm and peaks at about 5.8rpm for114.17hp and tq curve building best between 4.0-5.5 and picks at about 4.6-8 rpm for 115.18tqSAE with Cycle shack 1 3/4 tapered no baffel, SE 50mmtb and tp92 clutch and W7CAM. All I am suggesting is this build would benift by moving the tq curve to the top end, taking better advantage of the heads producing even greater hp. True duals will help accomplish that although I am not sure how the two cams compair on this.

If the clutch was slipping wouldn't the bump point down?
