I'm planning a trip to Milwaukee in a couple of weeks and am in the process of finding a hotel to stay near the H-D museum. Has anyone stayed at the Iron Horse Hotel and what did they think? Is it a decent hotel in a decent area of Milwaukee?
The area is ok. Not good, not bad. I have not stayed there, but have a few friends that have. They said it was cool how they cater to bikers. They say the rooms are very nice.
We stayed there about this time last year when we went to the Museum. I liked it. We drove somewhere for dinner, but were able to walk a few blocks for breakfast. Free street parking about a block away at that time.
