St. George Island, FL

It's been awhile since we have made a trip. I figure by now we would be all over the country. I finally retired after 30 years for Seabulk Towing out of Port Canaveral. Marcia's job has changed some so we have been watching and figuring out how to make some trips. But this last weekend we did an overnight-er to St. George, FL. This is a trip that some of our friends have been doing for a while, this was the 12th time for the trip. The name of the trip is Put Your Feet Down on St. George Island. It just felt good to get out on the road and meet up with a lot of other people. Here is the link below.

Nice photos! We live 95 miles from SGI, so we make the trip frequently, if only to lunch at the Blue Parrot. We also like the Bucaneer Inn. Kind of well worn, but it's on the beach and the rooms are clean enough.

BTW, how was Harry A's? It's had its ups and downs over the years, but we want to try it again on our next trip over in October.

As usual a neat trip! I always enjoy your videos, great job! Congrats on your retirement, I still have a few to go yet.
