Peter & Kay Forwood - Riding the World on a Harley

Some of you may know about them. I didn't until recently and I have to say they are undoubtedly the champions of world travel on a Harley. They've traveled for 13 years on a 1994 Electraglide Classic, visiting 193 countries. Their website is here:

The FAQ's give a great overview. I'm just gobsmacked that they've done as much travel on as much dirt as they have. I'd love to meet them someday. What an inspiration!

I met them when they came through Saudi several years ago. They were using the local dealers shop to change swingarm bushings. They were busy so we didn't have much of a chance to chat but they both seemed like they would be fun to have at a BBQ for the afternoon.

That's cool you were able to meet them. They've had far fewer problems with their Harley than I would have expected given the conditions they've ridden in. I hear there are a lot of Harley riders in Saudi. What is it like riding over there? Can you do so as a Westerner?
