Weather around Sedona in Middle of March?

The wife and I are considering a trip to Sedona, AZ in March. What is the weather like there at that time of year?
Thanks for any help.

We were there in March a couple years ago. It was a bit cool in the a.m. and late p.m. but certainly not cold. We weren't riding but there were plenty of bikes.

Looks like the monthly average temps for Sedona in March are 37 low and 65 high.

Sedona is beautiful. I'm a devoted offroader (moderator on explorer4x4.com) and explored a lot of backroads there..... absolutely gorgeous scenery. I would have to believe it would be every bit as much of a memorable experience on a Harley as it is on 4x4.

If you go I would advise a day trip up the mountain to Jerome. It is a small mining town about 20 miles out of Sedona....really nice ride, and if you really want to have some fun, go out the other side of Jerome into the mountains. The first 11 or 12 miles has something like 169 turns on it. Beautiful panoramic views over the whole area. Of course in March there might be snow up there. Just my .02 worth.

I second that. Jerome is a really neat town, and that mountain drive going off the other side is awesome.

We were there last March in a rented cage and ran into a snowstorm east of Flagstaff. By the time we got down to Sedona it had stopped and it melted the next day. I agree on the Jerome trip. It's an interesting little town.
