My wife and i are planning a 5 day trip from Biloxi, Ms to Jacksonville Fl. The interstate bores me. Does anyone have an alternate route instead of I10. Thanks for the help

I dont have my map in front of me but go North and catch 84East. Somewhere in Georgia (look at you map) you can head South into Jacksonville. I have taken 84 from Louisiana all the way through Dothan,Ala before and it is a good ride through the woods, country, small towns and good scenery.

If you are not in a big hurry and want to experience North Central Florida try...

getting off I-10 in Pensacola, Fl.,
Go east on US98 along the Gulf of Mexico to Perry Fl.,
Go east on US19 to Gainesville, Fl.,
Go east on US20 to Palatka, Fl.,
Then a couple of options from Plataka
1. stay on US 20 (east) until you get to St. Augustine, FL. to US1 or A1A and go north to Jacksonville
2. stay on US 20 (east) to 13A (near Spuds, Fl.) and go north to Jacksonville
