Cool Prescription Motorcycle Glasses

I am looking for recommendations for prescription riding glasses. I wear contact lenses and at at the end of the day my eyes are sometimes very dry and tired. This happens whether or not I ride. I have a set of HD sunglasses with the removable foam insert that I like a lot, but I would really like the option of ditching the contacts on those long rides.

I got the Wiley X with transitional lenses and couldn't be happier.

Full face helmet. I think in Texas they will grind the shield to your prescription.

Ride Safe.

I had a set of the HD glasses, too, with the interchangeable clear and dark lenses. I went to my eye doctor and had him grind two new sets of lenses for me. I don't remember what it cost, but it was cheaper than a new pair. This worked pretty well for a year or so until the foam wore out and I found out Harley couldn't get me a replacement.

After that I went with the PanOptix prescription. Great glasses and the service was top notch.

I ordered a pair of PanOptyx Raptors from Safevision. They were very helpful over the phone and seemed very knowledgeable. I need progressive lenses so I won't have them for at least another week. When I called I mentioned I was a member here but the woman that helped me didn't seem to know what I was talking about. I hope she lets the owners know why I ordered from them.

Thanks for all of your testimonials. I'm going to the Timonium MD motorcycle show this weekend, so I hope to get some "hands on" experience with these products. We are riding from MD to Birmingham AL in the spring, so I need to treat my eyes right.
