Thumbs up Panoptx goes beyond

When I got wrecked on my scoot by a drunk driver last year, I hit the ground so hard that my Panoptx Cyclone goggles snapped off at both bows. The lenses were o.k., and the frame around the lenses was good up to the hinge point. The EMT's never found the bows, but tucked the frame into my jacket pocket when they scraped my up off the road.

So, after looking at them for a year and a half, I checked the Panoptx web site and saw that they had a repair capability. I sent my frames off with a letter asking for them to replace the snapped bows and also replace the foam around the eyecups because they were four years old and kinda nasty.

I figured they would charge me fifty bucks for the frame and twenty-fve for the foam liners. I got the goggles back a week later and they only charged me for the foam replacement and shipping, and did the temples / bows as a courtesy repair.

So, now, I've got a spare set of nice day/night goggles that are good as new. Panoptx stood behind their product when they didn't have to, and I thought it would be fair to recognize them for their great service.

That's awesome to hear that a company gives a damn about customer service like that. I have a pair of Panoptix and now will not look to any other frame in the future. That is exactly how companies like that thrive. And word of mouth is some of the best advertising IMHO.

I was just looking into getting a pair of day/night goggles for next year. My wife already has a pair and she loves em.

I just got my panoptyx, raptors back from the factory, couple weeks ago. Broke em in half, they did an excellent job, cleaned em up an threw in a new cleaning cloth/bag, charged the same $50. Also the turnaround for the repairs was really fast. Good Company, Great Service!

I've got a day/night pair of Panoptx purchased about 6 years ago. They came with a really nice case. Zipper on the case broke within first couple months so I sent them an email. No questions asked, they asked for my address and sent me a new case no charge. Can't beat that IMHO.

I sent mine in for foam replacement and they came back looking like new. I broke the left stem the next year and they sent me two new ones in the mail for free!

I was just starting to research eye protection/goggles and now I know what brand I will be buying! Makes you wonder if they realize that treating one customer right can add several new customers.
