Panoptx goes beyond
When I got wrecked on my scoot by a drunk driver last year, I hit the ground so hard that my Panoptx Cyclone goggles snapped off at both bows. The lenses were o.k., and the frame around the lenses was good up to the hinge point. The EMT's never found the bows, but tucked the frame into my jacket pocket when they scraped my up off the road.
So, after looking at them for a year and a half, I checked the Panoptx web site and saw that they had a repair capability. I sent my frames off with a letter asking for them to replace the snapped bows and also replace the foam around the eyecups because they were four years old and kinda nasty.
I figured they would charge me fifty bucks for the frame and twenty-fve for the foam liners. I got the goggles back a week later and they only charged me for the foam replacement and shipping, and did the temples / bows as a courtesy repair.
So, now, I've got a spare set of nice day/night goggles that are good as new. Panoptx stood behind their product when they didn't have to, and I thought it would be fair to recognize them for their great service.
