Harley Helmets
I really want one of the Screaming Eagle Full Face or the flame modular helmets. I won't use it enough to justify the price tag ($250-$275).
Anyone have an idea for an online dealer, or whoever that may have one a little better priced.
I can't explain it, just want one.

You don't think your skull is worth an investment of $250.00? Come on, go ahead and buy it and give it to yourself for X-Mas.

I don't want to start a helmet vs. no helmet debate but I totally agree! We go out and spend $20,000. on a bike, but won't spring for $250.00 for a good helmet to protect the puter?

I don't know if you can order the helmet through Zanotti's or Benjy's, but it might be worth a try.
The last Aria full face that I bought was the least expensive (I have three of them). It was only $400. It is my head that it is protecting, so money is not that important.

you can get the SE full face at https://www.zanottimotor.com/shopping/pLookUp.php
for $195
the trick to getting the price there is getting the size after the part number.
here's how it's done.

There are also some great online helmet dealers. I have used both the Helmet Shop in Daytona, and Helmet City in Ca. with very good results. Both of them are very customer service oriented.

I bought a full face with a flip up face which I like very much. It is a HJC helmet and they had a HD one for many dollars more with the HD markings. I went to the dealer, tried it on for sizing and then went online and found the HJC helmet and bought it online for less. although for what I paid I could of bought the HD one from zanottis with there discount it was about the same.

It's not a matter of helmet debate. I know for a fact I won't wear a full face helmet this summer. If I have to wear a helmet I do wear a DOT helmet. So, for some mid winter stuff I keep a full face. This project is just one of those want things. It's not a matter of spending real money on equipment, it's spending money on something I simply don't need. But, I do a lot of that too.
Just wanted to add in that the little question saved me at least $50 on the purchase, so thanks.

Right on ! I started with HD helmets for the most part because I liked the fit. Found out that HJC fits the same. Wouldn't suprise me if HJC made them for HD. Less money, DOT etc., and the same fit.

HJC does make quite a few of the Harley helmets. Their label is on the inside.

Watch when you buy on Ebay. There are some helmets that carry the Harley logo that are not from the moco. If you order one, they dropship from China, 1 at a time, some will get through.
I bid on one and won the auction, then found out that they were knockoffs. Before I won the auction, I asked to get out of it, since they were not dot. I got no response until after I complained to ebay, basically, it wanted money from me to drop it. I told them to pound sand, ebay backed me up. They are still trying to sell them on Ebay.
