Riding Shorts
No, I don't want to ride in shorts. I want shorts, or underwear, or riding shorts, or whatever you want to call what you wear as a base layer, that doesn't chaffe.
I usually just wear my regular 'ol boxer briefs under my jeans when I ride, but as of late the seams are really starting to annoy my skinny little ass. I was wondering if anyone had a recommendation (besides putting on weight) as to what type of undergarment may be of suitable use.
Under Armor? LD Comfort? Any other suggestions?
Help a skinny assed, seam annoyed brother out, would ya??
thanks,
darrell

I've seen, and I must say, the boots match perfectly.

All kidding aside, I do have a pair of the LD Comfort shorts and they do make things more "comfy" on long distance rides.

Fat (_!_)
Let me be the first to say that you don't have to be skinny to have uncomfortable shorts. My boxer/briefs get pretty annoying too, and at 5'11" and 265, nobody ever told me I had a skinny (_!_).
I'm interested in solutions too...besides losing weight...which I am working on by the way. Lost 30 pounds so far. Got a good ways to go though, but that's another tread.

J C Penny sells a line called "Pro Player". Good comfort, easy care, and usually can be found on sale.

Well, you could do like a couple of my riding buddies....get a couple cans of " Monkey Butt" and don't wear any underwear. They swear by it. I haven't tried it...going to take them for their word.

I second JC Penney Pro Player
I bought some this summer and they really work well in the heat. Cotton gets wet and clammy while these stay dry and comfy....

I wonder if a good pair of those gay looking bike, as in bicycle, riding shorts would work well. You know, the kind that advertises your "package" or lack thereof. Good subject though cause I sure get monkeybutt on my Badlander seat. I am NOT trying to start a gay thread. Speaking of Gay...John Kerry is an asshole.

Pleezzzee!! John Kerry is the biggest moron that I have EVER seen run for office in my 33 years of voting! I was a liberal left wing pacifist until the last election. Now I am a right wing Christian conservative!! See what that idiot did for me??? He improved my life!! Just by being himself!! He is what makes me no longer afraid to be a conservative republican.

I should have known starting a thread about underwear would lead to a debate about whose more of an ass.
I'm gonna try out the LD Comfort just as soon as I get some extra play money.

Maybe try some bicycle shorts under your pants? Of course your buds may wonder why you have butt padding showing through your jeans.
