I have to give a shout out to Cyclegear and say well done. On a recent ride that I took to Montana, I had problems with two pieces of Bilt gear. A small screw came out of my Bilt helmet making the face shield flap around. I was able to make a temporary repair. And the Bilt jacket that I used on this ride had problems with the zipper and stitching that I was able to get repaired in Jackson, WY.
So I went to Cyclegear today to see about their five year warranty. They immediately replaced my 2 1/2 year old helmet with a brand new identical helmet. The old helmet had about 30,000 miles on it and showed a lot of wear. And they refunded the full price of the jacket I bought last September for this ride, a leather/mesh jacket.
So while Cyclegear's Bilt line may not be of the highest quality, their warranty is. I'm happy with how they treated me.
