Ok so it may not be riding gear per say but has anyone had an experience buying merchandise from Zazzle? I recently joined up with an online Christian riders club (Bikers Of Faith) and they don't sell their own merchandise. They have items for sale on Zazzle though and I'm just wondering if anyone has any feedback as far as the quality. I would just be looking at picking some club shirts or something so it's not a major purchase but $20 is still $20. They seem to have good reviews on their own site but take that for what it's worth.
Bought a shirt from them last year & it was just OK. Shirt was very thin & the graphics did not really stand out. For $20 it was satisfactory, but not great.
I just put our riding club stuff on a site like Zazzle. It works okay because we are a small club and the profit is small - but no risk.
I found that you need to make sure that the graphic is very good quality or it won't work well and depending on how it is setup you can select different brands / quality of shirts.
If the shirts are in fact 6oz cotton and double-stitched they shouldn't be all that bad, but a lot with fabric is in how you treat it. I started washing my T's on the delicate setting and drying with the same setting and I've gotten far more life out of them than in the past. Check out similar shirts in the stores (weight, stitching) and see what you think. You may already have a few in your closet.
