Edit to add my all time favorite riding boots were made in England. (1974)
Soft glove leather with rear zipper and sewn-on wear pads for both proper Brit/ HD K model & early Sporty w/shifter on right,
and later American/ricer w/ shifter on left. Good for long rides but must change to walking shoes when off the bike.
Lace ups and Trooper pull-ons like the Style 27950 17" with lace at ankle, to make it fit like a lace-up are better for walking.
ANY good boot can re resoled to get a more comfortable walking sole.
I use insole inserts to reduce foot & leg pain while walking.
Can get them at most drug stores.
