You know...Those straps that clip on to the cuff of your pants and go under your boot to keep your pant leg from riding up? Well I am trying to find who makes them and who distributes them so my local dealer can stock them. I have a good heavy duty pair made by Mustang but I cant find who sells or distributes them. People I meet are always asking where they can get them. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
I had some cheap ones that did not hold up well. The Mustang straps have heavy steel clasps with strong springs and elastic. I have been wearing them daily for over a year and they are still holding up well. The elastic has not stretched out and the clasps grip as tight as the day I bought them. I don't recall the price but it was about $10.00 more or less, about the same as the cheap pair I had. People are always asking me where to get them. The shop I got them at doesn't carry them anymore.
My pants fit fine for everyday wear but ride up when on the bike. If I bought them any longer I would be tripping on the cuffs when not on the bike. If you ride long days in cool weather you would appreciate them. I have a good pair but would like to find the distributor for the Mustang Straps because our local dealership would like to stock them.
I have always bought my pants a little long and still cuff them up a bit. If I am going to be on the scoot I use blousing straps on the outside of my pants then cuff them over.
